Well it's been almost all string bending/ vibrato for the last 14 to 15 months. Thankfully I had a major breakthrough about a month or so ago and don't seem to have to worry about that anymore. Right or wrong, I just didn't feel like I could move forward until I had the technique securely under my belt. Now I'm ready to work on sweeping, legato, pentatonic patterns, etc. Basically anything that will help me tie it all together and allow for more creative freedom.

Well one thing's for sure, this time around I'm not going to be closed to anything. I believe every lesson on this site has something to offer.

My goals, hummmm... I guess to get around on my instrument half as well as you do.

It's good to have you back on the site man! smile.gif Try working a bit of theory as well, this is my advice. It seems you are doing lots of cool exercises, so theory would really help you tie it all together.

Well I was an aspiring jazz guitarist in my former life, so feel pretty comfortable there. It's funny, I hit thirty five and suddenly all I want to play is the music of my youth. My wife walked in on me the other day and I was playing "Nightrain" and she said, "what's happened to you?"
