Spectacular performance! I just recently got into Andy like a week ago. I reviewed his latest album on iTunes. I really like shred metal now. biggrin.gif I used to hate all those notes flying by me. LOL. Now I enjoy it. I will definitely get this when it comes out. Thanks for the heads up. I saw that annotation. Glad it is close. Paul Wardingham's new album won't come out until mid this year. So this will keep me tied over.

I guess they were running out of memory or something? The quality went down after the first two videos. biggrin.gif

Andy is a weapon! So Melodic and so Fast
He does something amazing with the guitar. I have been following him for ages, love his work.
I think people need to appreciate what he does, and where he will be in 10 years time... cool.gif

I got a guitar library dvd from him (you can see it in youtube) it´s called "shred guitar in 6 weeks", the backing tracks are great, tremendously powerful (i can upload some of them but i don't know if I can do this on this page)

He has very nice licks but somehow reminds me from the old metal school...

I think it's a similiar reason to why Andy Timmons is only known by guitarists.... same with lack of guitar solo's these days in your earlier thread.

I think non guitar players wont listen to an Instrumental guitar album...

But hey they are missing out tongue.gif

I love Andy, there is no technique that he hasn't mastered, his series of "QuickLicks" in the style of.... Are usually better than the artist he is trying to imitate... IMO

Andy Timmons is not that underrated biggrin.gif he is pretty famous I think, but keep in mind that he emerged during an era when guitar virtuoso players were still adulated everywhere.
