Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Antonio Vivaldi - Winter Arpeggios by Cosmin Lupu

Hi All, Thanks for the feedback for my previous REC take. Its very helpful. I am trying this real finger twister lesson. I do hear some staccato effect as of now. Maybe I need more practice but you might know what I should do to improve that. Any tips? Thanks, Chandra

Really good take Chandra !

In some places nearer the end, some of the notes were bleeding into each other a bit. Apart from that, you did a great job ! cool.gif

This is a very good take man! As you said there are some notes that sound with staccato but it's just a detail that will be fixed with some more practice. Well done!

Very good job ! Ok, only a small suggestion to delay - it's too short and sticks to the basic tone, which can lead to gain the impression to bad timing wink.gif. Listen once more original video,(at the very end), and you'll see what I am talking about !

Hey Chandra!

The take is very good mate! The same observation will come from me as well, some notes may bleed into each other but, trust me, in many times I'm having a hard time with this as well, especially when I'm playing it onstage.

Just a little more practice should get you there - I am usually using my left hand fingers while playing the arpeggios, blocking the notes in order not to make them ring into each other, it's tricky indeed, especially when sped up laugh.gif I could start practicing it again myself. If a Mozart Rocks gig will happen soon and I can't play it, I'm toast laugh.gif
