This was definitely the best cartoon of the era. I have the boxset. I spent the last few days re-watching them all. It is truly a masterpiece.

Yeah they were great. I researched it on Wikipedia.. turns out the series started in 1992. I probably didn't see them until 94 or 95. They used to be shown on a Saturday Morning Kids tv show. I can only really remember the one with Killer Croc called Sideshow.

www.hulu.com has a deal with Warner Bros that allows them to stream Season one for free.

I love it so very much. The guy who does Bruce Wayne's voice in this cartoon was actually a 9/11 volunteer. There was a night where he was cooking for the police and firemen. Someone there recognised him and asked him to do the famous, "I am vengeance, I am the night, I am... BATMAN!"

He said that seeing the smiles on the faces of those heroic men and women after he did it was the best feeling he had ever felt in his life. He sounds like an admirable man.
