Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! This is a good take but it need some adjustments. Your guitar sounds a bit out of tune (Check it it's the tuning or the calibration). The first phrases sound good, you could make your vibrato wider and smoother. Then, in the faster sections your are a bit out of timing and I can note that both hands lose a bit the synchronism in the faster AP licks. Regarding your Sweep Picking, you could mute a bit the strings with the palm of your right hand to make it sound cleaner. Some bends are a bit out of pitch.
Well, all those things must be checked and worked but there is nothing so serious, it's just an adjustment to make it sound perfect.
Keep on working hard! wink.gif

Hmm ,not bad,but still you must practice a bit. One of the most important things you are mastered, and that is the melody. But that's not enough, as you know. Timing ,on a first place ,try to concentrate on it ! The second would be a palm muting, you have a lot of unwanted noises around. I think that your guitar isn't calibrated, so it is best to put a fresh strings on it . I think it's best to change your strings, these have ended their career biggrin.gif

Hey Ulrik !

The things I would work on would be overall timing of phrases - making them sit in the beat better. In some places you were a little too fast, in front of the beat. The other main thing is hand synchonisation for the picking elements.

Your left hand is good at shifting around so that's a great asset for your playing.

Vibrato could do with attention as well but it's not as crucial at the moment as the other 2 things smile.gif

Good timing, and nicely played. You need to watch out for those bends, they need to be perfectly in tune. Also, your guitar is a bit out of tune, always double check it before recording.

Hey Ulrik! I think the guys pointed out the most important aspects so I would just sum it up a bit:

- noisiness - try and control the unwanted sounds
- timing - you need to improve this somewhat
- bending - sometimes out of pitch
- tune the guitar or as Sinisa said, change the strings

hope these will help out for a straight 10 biggrin.gif

keep up the good work mate

Cosmin

Sounds good! A few things thou! Your guitar is out of tune, also your bends a little inaccurate but I will blame it on guitar tuning, You got almost all the prats right and it sounded pretty good! Just try spending a little bit more time practicing it and it will be great! Also you can adjust you guitar sound a little more, cause it sounds too treble and too much hi-mid
