Beginner Solo in D, Lesson By Muris Varajic |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! This is a good take but it need some adjustments. Your guitar sounds a bit out of tune (Check it it's the tuning or the calibration). The first phrases sound good, you could make your vibrato wider and smoother. Then, in the faster sections your are a bit out of timing and I can note that both hands lose a bit the synchronism in the faster AP licks. Regarding your Sweep Picking, you could mute a bit the strings with the palm of your right hand to make it sound cleaner. Some bends are a bit out of pitch.
Well, all those things must be checked and worked but there is nothing so serious, it's just an adjustment to make it sound perfect. Keep on working hard! -------------------- My lessons

Good timing, and nicely played. You need to watch out for those bends, they need to be perfectly in tune. Also, your guitar is a bit out of tune, always double check it before recording.
