Here are some takes from today's MM4 practice.

i know, i know i should play with a metronome biggrin.gif.
still got to work on that vibrato from the main riff, i can "abuse" him while playin in slow tempos, but i tend to lose control when going higher.

Also i can't seem to get D: those harmonics in le 1ºfret and it screws up the tempo in my head.

Sure thing.

About the triads

From Le C major Scale you have

C Mtriad - C E G
Dm triad - D F A
Em triad - E G B
F Mtriad - F A C
G Mtriad - G B D
Am triad - A C E
Bdim triad - B D F

From Le G Major

G Mtriad - G B D
Am triad - A C E
Bm triad - B D F#
C Mtriad - C E G
D Mtriad - D F# A
Em triad - E G B
FDim triad - F A Cb

Please correct any mistake.

i am still composing 2 songs using triads and stuff, simple songs, one is still in development (the yellow pig) and the other i have yet to tab tongue.gif so i'll leave with this thing:D of creepy sounding and somehow funny that i have also compose.. few weeks ago instead.

here's MM4 with backing, i went down to drop C, but since i am using "lighter" strings i lost some of the definition :C

man, as i've referred before ( i think?); my left hand is mega weak when it comes to barred special with my index finger and ring finger, around the G and B string (when it comes to chords) and in other situations, like barred rock'n'roll riff's and stuff; (remarkably i can barred better with my pinky finger than with my ring)

i know people would say, just train some chords that required barred, thing is, when i do it my thumb puts a stupidly huge hulkish strength mode on / and gets mega tense in order to make le fingers in the fret board ringing all of what needs to be ring. it kills me ._. i usually i tend to give up after like 2 min, and it frustrate me like hell (in those last 5 days i just picked the guitar to record MM4, ._. quite still frustrated with my failing on it)

even more than shred speed, etc ,etc; this is what i want to achieve/fix right now! :/

Hola Renato smile.gif

I would recommend taking a look over this lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/chords...2-barre-triads/

AND discussing it together afterwards wink.gif I think it's a matter of tension here, so we shall sort it out together smile.gif shall we?

Yoh Guitarmasterclass Instructor Cosmin Lupu, hows your summer? things here are going upraising, i have manage to create wormholes and also doing some time travel, i shall face Petrucci for the title of Galactic emperor and extract from him, his World Domination techniques.

No for real, my barre skills are getting better, i've been working with all kind of chords; there is still some tension i want to get riff off, i also found that after practice my legato for a few days, my Alt. pick was like mega different, i found myself away more relaxed therefore things start to flow a lot easier than b4; i was really surprised biggrin.gif (doing like 2npb, 3npb, 4npb around 100bpm - 120bpm not a big deal, but still biggrin.gif i am happy with the result so far)

Thanks, so far i am okay. I have got my hand on le Guthrie Govan's Creative Books, so i have a lot of fancy stuff to work in!

right now i am training Chords shifting, and amount of strength that i use ( i think some of the pains in my arm, were due to the huge amount of strength that i used to use)
; also i ve been doing this cool exercise where i have 4 fingers in the fret board and then i have to move 2 of them without moving the other 2 D: and some legato stuff, still got almost 2 months in front of me, so i will work work:

Those books have ruined my social life as well laugh.gif Now, kidding aside, they are very very good! wink.gif

It seems you are a busy man - the shifting will become easier and easier once you get used to it so don't worry. I'll be here in case you need me, or if you just want to chit chat smile.gif

Howdy Renato! Can you please give me an example? A vid or something? Not necessarily played by yourself, but I would need a contextual example to get it right. On first thought, it's just a matter of time and practice while focusing on the chord shifts and rhythms specific to the ska punk (I know, everyone thinks that this music is silly and easy to play, but there are some rhythms which are far from being easy biggrin.gif)

I can imagine playing 4 chords/ bar, having each chord change occurring on the second 8th note on each beat tongue.gif add a fairly alert tempo and you got a nemesis groove!

Am I getting close to your actual problem, or have I just invented a new one? laugh.gif

Cosmin

i am starting with easy stuff, so i am learning this

my main thing, isn't about the shifting:

When i have my left hand relaxed, my right hand is also relax and so i can't make it sound punky/metal aggressive; when i try to tense up just a bit to do some for example constant down picking, my left hand starts to tense too. and my thumb starts to tense like hell xD

Hmmmm, my advice would be to try playing slow enough that you can break down the connection between the hands: play with the relaxed left hand and punch in with the right. See, I played a lot, but when I say a lot I mean A LOT of funk music, which deals with syncopated rhythms and intricate right hand patterns - this helped me play almost anything rhythm based without too much sweat.

This is what I think you should do, but anyway, whatever you do, do it slow and observe the way in which your body reacts smile.gif

Let's see what sort of progress we get with this, eh?

Cosmin
