> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Marc this rocks big time ! cool.gif

Your riffing is very strong, great palm muting. The only thing I would do differently is play those first 4 single notes at 0:40 with down strokes instead of alternate picking, to keep it stronger but that's a matter of taste and using alternate picking isn't wrong. smile.gif

Good take! I like your sound and touch!
Your timing is a little bit off, in this kind of music you have to play behind the beat to make it groove better.
Spend a little bit more time with a metronome and it will sound perfect!

You are getting a good tone, your right hand technique is ok and the palm muting is perfect for me. I think that your timing need some work. You have to concentrate on playing tighter with the backing. It's not something serious but it need some adjustment. wink.gif
