Did anyone play the (ESP) LTH MH-50 or H-51?

I'm thinking of getting one of them and put a set of EGM 81/85 in it. They both got string through body and 1 vol 1 tone with a 3 way switch. Perfect for the EMG set!

Can the feel be compared with a Ibanes RG model, a Jackson Dinkey or what? I'd be thankful for any input since I plan to order the guitar and pu's from Germany to keep it cheap.

The toal cost including P & P would be 473 Euro for the MH-50 (24 frets and 279 Euro, the 22 fret H-51 is 249 E) which is for me a good price for a guitar with those EMG's.
Or if you know of a cheaper guitar... I tend to think, correct me if I'm wrong, that with those babies the wood etc doesn't make too much differenence, well it's good if it has a BIT of sustain and that it's straight from head stock to bridge. A NO Floyd Rose on a low budget guitar like this.

I've seen one for 130 Euro cheaper (runs for 149 E) and a LP copy that runs for 111 Euro... but I rahter have the RG shape.

just found this post tongue.gif

the mh and h are quite similar guitars. only main difference being headstock and finishes, i think tongue.gif

i myself have played a h-50 and a m-100. the feel between the two is considerably different.

the M is very rg like. H and MH if you wanna talk ibanez terms feel more like the SA series.

The higher models of H and Mh are mohagany but the lower are agathis. i hate agathis tongue.gif
and with emgs i guess you can say they can cover up the sound of the wood. but it still affects it.

your cleans will sound pretty rough but distortion will be good =]

i would say. if you can afford it. go for the higher models mh 400/h 500.
but if not.
go for it tongue.gif
