> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Hi Cosmin

Ive got a take done on the metal metrics 2. I don't think its completely spot on, but I cant stand playing this lesson anymore as ive played it to death! I need a break from it. Plus i really dont like playing "strat" style guitars either! They just dont feel right mad.gif
See what you think. Maybe it can be a revisit down the line.

Back to work on the rest of them i guess! mellow.gif

That was nice Tim! If you were playing a samurai sword, I would have sworn it was Cos playing that piece. smile.gif Seriously, that was good man. Your timing to my untrained non-instructor ear seemed spot on. See, I personally always like comments from non-pros because as far as I'm concerned, anyone who listens to music is a pro at..... well listening to music. and as far as straight up liking what you hear... that tells me it must be good right? Now we introduce Cos to make us razor sharp of course, but man if it's pleasing to anyone's ear who loves music, then that tells me that I must be on the right track. Well, that's just my two cents worth in hoping it keeps you motivated... smile.gif

I did think the timing was good and it sounded tight to me. Cos will jump in here and slap me and say, stop trying to do my job... LOL!

Cheers Tim,

Mark

Sweet! good to know! That one missing note will haunt me forever biggrin.gif
I might revist the Drop A tuning in the future, But for now, Ill stick to regular. Such a low tuning aint really my cup of tea (yet?)
So its back to work, dont want the threat of a sword wielding man breaking down my door for not practicing!:o

Cos is Sword of a big deal up in here, so I will indeed tread lightly...

Cos, you still need to add..... "I also do circumcision" into your signature pane...
Still love that line from Blind Fury! Old, but good movie...

I was a good take man, don't beat yourself up about it for sure... that was worthy, but that is coming from me... the air guitar instructor. All of my notes are a breeze to play man... smile.gif

Hey guys,
ahh yes the hand
Well its not that I pushed through pain to get all this done, but with the amount of work ive done lately it is starting to become bothersome again. So I'm slowing down a little now to give it a break and also try to get a new opinion on its condition from a professional.
so yeah, that's the low down.

I'm obviously no doctor as my income reflects... smile.gif but I'd say using it like you have would be good therapy as long as you weren't pushing it to injury again...

Keep up the good work Tim, and relax a little... you've proven you can play some good guitar for sure!!

Take care.

What will I be working on? Ive got loads to do!

Im going to spend more time on learning German. I'm planning on getting a job again soon so I need to get it to a better level tongue.gif
Then there's ear training I wanna do, Some theory/harmony work. Also working with my Daw to get better recorded guitar tones worked out, mess with plugins ect...
Then finally there's the Electronic music I'll jump back into. Start messing with synths and oscillators again smile.gif plus maybe some reading!
So plenty to do even with out the guitar!

Also, all this talk in the vid chat about keys, chords, mods got me thinking and thought maybe if your time permits we could do some of this again on my thread. what do you think??

Tim
