1.without watching at S - shift slight i see only 16 notes/tones

but when i listen to your playing its more notes !

2. Ok i think it must be because of that shift slight!
I still couldn't exactly figure it out how to play that it sounds like yours !

3. I need help to understand that shift slight better and how to play it.

Thank you a lot for all that power you spend on me and have a GREAT DAY !

Dieter

Hello! I am playing exact amount of notes as on the tab
The trick is to practice this arpeggios at a very slow tempo always using a metronome it will take some time to get them right!
I am ready to help you out! Please let me know how can I help!

You did a very good job! And also very quick!
You have a few timing issues! How about we will concentrate on it for a little bit in your mentoring program?

Hello Alex,

yes its a good idea from you to go into my timing issue on mentoring program !

Here is a very good exercise! I have two tracks with my guitar and click only!
The second track has two bars with the click and two without! The trick is to keep the tempo even when click is gone!
This exercise will require a lot of concentration and some work! But it will improve your timing very fast!!!
Tempo is 80BPM
The chord is still E7#9

Track with my guitar:

Click only track:

Please let me know if you have any questions or need help!

You are doing good! The chords should be more staccato and you are rushing a little bit!
Do you remember the exercise I gave you a while ago? It's on the first page of your thread
Did you practice it? Cause it will do miracles for you! Let me know how it goes and I will give you a new rhythm workout in a few days!

Hello Alex,

yes i remember this lesson and do it very slow - i start to get more into feel the rhythm changes -

it helps me with van halen lesson too,i am getting more into it and the rhythm is closer now ,

finally i found the key to natural harmonics on VII and V frets , but will exercise this lesson more now before a record smile.gif
i feel still a bit uncomfortable when i record .

Ok , hope you are well !

Dieter

Hello Alex,

here my morning exercise in 60 Bpm and 80 Bpm .

60 Bpm i fell more uncomfortable than 80 and of course the part with 12 beats - 4 times 3- i need my head and then i loose the beat huh.gif
but i recognize that i have to find the rhythm inside myself without thinking about it and this exercise is a key - thank you !

Good take! A few things that you need to work on!
60BPM
1) part 2 should be triplets you are playing them straight instead? Try to play along with the Guitar Pro file!
2) ever time triplets are happening you are off for some reason!
3) your are rushing a little bit through the whole take!

80BPM
Was much much better! I liked it a lot!
1) part 3 you are rushing but than got back into the groove!
So my suggestion would be to play it at 80 BPM and get very comfortable with this exercises! You are almost there and it will sound great very soon!
After you master it at 80 BPM you can lower the tempo!
The tricky thing about this exercise is slower you do it harder it is to keep up!
Let me know if you have any questions or need help!

It is much much better! just watch out for the verse part! You are slowing down there and rushing!
Can you record only the verse for me at a slow tempo?
