Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Beginner's Corner 1: Open Chords by Bear Rose

Hello here another one , it is still strange to play with backing track and with a given rhythm - feel like a white belt and first movements :)

Hey! Nice to see another take by you!
Your tone was very nice! You are rushing and when you are getting to A mi chord it's ahead of the beat!
But I can hear that you are concentrating more and trying to hold yourself back!!!
I can suggest to really listen to the drums and keep focusing! I already can hear your progress! Keep it up!

Hey Dieter! Slowly but surely, your progress will occur man! Take the time to work with the timing a bit more and stay in sync with the drums, k? Just as Alex said! smile.gif

Hi man! The chord changes are really well, as well as your tone. The problem here is your timing, you are not going with the drums. Try to practice this one over the original lesson and follow the instructors playing. Practising at slower tempos concentrating on timing is also the way to go.
