I'm running crappy guitar rig 4 software. If i find some money i think i'll buy decent external soundcard or processor to work with my laptop ..
I was wondering , can u give me some excercizes to workout arpeggios?
I was practicing those arpeggios u gave in ur harmonic minor lessons (those diminished ones) , but i'm now bored cos' i wann triy them more out...
I have a perfect exercise for you! It will help you to master modes plus will bring your alternative picking to the next level! Modes being used: F# Locrian - G major - A dorian - B phrygian - C Lydian - D mixolydian - E minor Here it is!
E ||----------------------------------------------3----| B ||-------------------------------------3--5--7-------| G ||o---------------------------2--4--5----------------| D ||o------------------2--4--5-------------------------| A ||----------2--3--5----------------------------------| E ||-2--3--5-------------------------------------------|
I would like you to start by getting use to those shapes and when you will be learning them try to call out notes it will help you to master the neck better! And here is a cool part of this exercise! I played a track and would like you to play along with me! This exercise will help you with picking technique! http://soundcloud.com/alex-feather-akimov/modes-workout
Let me know if you have any questions or need help!

Hey Alex
I'm currently spending time practicing these arpeggios
I will do your exercise in few days, ok?
Those arpeggios are very good but they might confuse you a little! Because it is a mix of 5 and 6 string arpeggios! I have a suggestion:) I did this lesson a while ago it contain all arpeggios of G major scale and by earning those you will be able to harmonize the scale and will see the relations between arpeggios Check the out! https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Sweep-...-7th-Arpeggios/
Let me know if you like it! P.S. Continue practicing arpeggios you already learning! My lesson would be a good addition to it! Let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything!
I've learned them at that time already. Now i wanna learn the other arpeggios, cos' they have some strange finger patterns, and they sound more metal!!! \m/ I can play them in 16th notes in 120 bpm, but cant play them faster. How do you mean they can confuse me?

Arpeggios are not from harmonic minor those are from G major scale! I did explain Harmonic minor and showed different arpeggios! I just think that learning all arpeggios for each string is much easier and more productive than same chord arpeggios at once! That is all! I will prepare a metal assignment for you so you can use arpeggios that you have learned!

I just wanted to follow up and see if you are ready for a new assignment! Let me know !
You haven't recorded your take! Please do cause will be moving on and things will get more complex and fun!!! Let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything!

Don't worry! Take your time! I understand when it is too hot it is hard to be productive! I have prepared a video chat for you and next Sunday I will be teaching arpeggio connections!

You did a very good job! I would suggest to lower gain so your dynamic will come out more, also timing was a little shaky and it sounded like your guitar was slightly out of tune? If you can do another track using my suggestions it would be great!
