Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: German Power Metal III: Gamma Ray by Gabriel Leopardi

Hi again, thanks for your feedback on the previous videos, I did post them early so I could get your feedback before I picked up any more bad habits, I've been playing for a while but never had a lesson or a teacher so I have a lot of bad technique that I'm hoping you guys can point out to me (which you already have thank you) this one I found easier as I grew up on Metallica which is mostly down picking, anyhow, thanks again Gabriel for a great Series and to all you other shredders for your feedback :)

Hi Patrik, if you have any bad habits I can't see them !! laugh.gif

I have noticed that we're going to have to pin you down and work on your left hand at some point and work to improve your vibrato ! I know it doesn't feature much in this lesson but I can tell that your fretting hand could do with more overall confidence, of that makes sense ? Good work smile.gif

Hey Patrick! Good comeback mate biggrin.gif nice timing on this take, though I have to agree with Ben on the vibrato, which needs to be wider and confident smile.gif keep up the good work man!

Great take man! I can't see any bad habit. In the only down strokes section that starts at 00:47 I can note that you are not playing 100% tight. There is also a rhythm difference in the last melody, compare it with the original lesson.

Great take! Nice timing and nice playing!
I just think the whole take can use a little bit more confidence! Other than that it was great!
