Hey everyone,

I have a lot of trouble finding some of the chords I need to play and I was wondering if anyone could help me out?

Right now I use http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/index.php?get=Get but it's a liar. It does not have ALL guitar chords.

I also have the ultimate guitar chord chart, but it lies as well.

Does anyone else have a similar resource that is true to it's name?

Currently I am looking for a D2 chord... I also don't know how to construct it (hint hint Andrew!)

D2, also known as Dsus2 would be a D, an E and A. Sus 2 chords are interesting because they consist of root, 2nd and 5th, with very unusually no 3rd of any sort. They are similar to sus4 chords in that respect; a sus 4 replaces the 2nd with a 4th and is more common. Dsus4 (or just suspended) would be DGA.

As for chords, I always use this site for chords and scales:

But I make no claims as to its veracity or otherwise smile.gif

D2 - an open D without fretting the high E

E 0
B 3
G 2
D 0
A x
E x

The "2" chords (D2 A2 etc) always throw me off too, because as Andrew says, its really a sus2 - as most chord charts refer to it, but most song chord sheets don't refer to it that way.

Suddenly my guitar chord chart has more chords.

I did not realize A2 = Asus2!

Thanks

EDIT: Are there any theory lessons on this yet that I have not reached or are they yet to be made?
