> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

So now I understand why you don't use it so much laugh.gif

Looks like I'll be having a lot of time to play guitar. I almost tore my ACL in a track meet. I also rolled my ankle so I'm out of the game for a while.

What sort of surprise man? Doesn't your camera have a built in mic or the computer? If it's a laptop, it should have one smile.gif

Just found out I can use my laptop's mic for garageband!

Looks like I'm in business. In between all of the other guitar playing and lessons I've been doing, I've also been piecing together Meta!

I'm hoping to have a full vocal and guitar cover done by the end of the month or sometime next month!

Wow! That would be really cool!

I cannot scream to save my life so I'll most likely only be doing the singing parts.

If you can sing and play in the same time, you are the man! Screamos included or not, either way biggrin.gif

Oh I can't do complex stuff yet!

I'm thinking I'm going to make a legitimate cover track and I'll probably put that over me playing the actual song! I don't know if that would really count as me playing it or not, especially for a REC take...

It would be awesome anyway smile.gif The REC does not involve singing as a compulsory thing, but if you could strap the vocal track over the playing, it would be more than awesome biggrin.gif Honestly speaking, I have never ever heard anyone sing this tune other than myself - in an organized setting, I mean.

Definitely. I'm trying to make it as good as I can.

I'm really excited to get a critique on a cover from the actual artist! biggrin.gif

What other songs can you sing? I'd like to tell you a thing or two about singing, but first thing - let's hear the recording so that we may have a base to start from smile.gif

I'm not good at singing low meaning my vibrato for lower notes isn't on point but for powerful heavy notes I'm pretty good. Friends of mine have tried to start bands here and there and have tried to recruit me if that says anything laugh.gif

So I tried a PRS Custom 24 SE today. I tried the 6 and 7 string version of it.

Both were amazing. I'm pretty set on the 6-string version being my next guitar!
