Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Vibrato Lesson 1 - Left Hand by Marcus Lavendell

Here is my take on Marcus' left hand vibrato lesson. Couple snags here and there but timing was the biggest challenge of this lesson. I appreciate all of your feedback. Have a good one!

You know my thoughts on this one Marcus but I'll repeat it for the benefit of my comrades !

The vibrato and bending side of things is fantastic !

It's only the string noise that lets it down but the passion (and warfare ?) is undisputed ! cool.gif

Aside from the CONGRATULATIONS and the agreement with Ben and Gabe's observations, I must add something - there's a point when a player starts getting closer and closer to that level of dynamism in his playing which is found at the level where playing is becoming an art. I can hear that happening, which means it's clearly good!

Awesome biggrin.gif

I liked your take a lot! Great vibrato and bending! Some strings nose but it didn't ruin the way I feel about this take! Awesome job! 10 from me!
