Yes! I see now. One step can be both E or Eb, so both scales (Dm and Gm) are possible, right?

Exactly!!!

How is the exercise I gave you coming along? Do you have any questions or need help with anything? I will post a new melodic assignment today! smile.gif

I'm practicing the exercise, but still have some mistakes. Anyway, I can make a record over the click at slow tempo (about 60 BPM) in order to show the present result.
New melodic assignment sounds very nice. Like such type of exercises. They help me to develop my phrasing smile.gif

Great job!!! I would like you to continue playing this exercise daily and you will start seeing progress very soon if not already! smile.gif
I have created a new backing track!!!
http://soundcloud.com/alex-feather-akimov/chord-progression
The chord progression is:
Dmi - Bb - Gmi - F
I would like you to create a solo pretending it is in the key of F
You can use
D minor pentatonic
F major pentatonic
F major scale
D minor scale
Try to be as melodic as possible and let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything! smile.gif

Nice backing track! It will be very interesting to create a solo over it.

I leave the city for a week, so the results will be later.
