Our best summers are probably like your winters. We are very lucky and almost declare a public holiday when temperatures get over 23 degrees C.

We usually are in the high 30s/low 40s for the Summer. According to the national news though the temp hit 49C a few Summers ago - they think it went over 50 but the thermometer they use kind of gave up.
Winters the temp is usually in the 10-20C range. I tend to think anything below 20C is cold. Very weirdly we did have a hail/ice storm two weekends ago. Friday night we were at a street party until 2am - temp at 2am was about 20C and just getting chilly. Next day it clouded over badly, temp dropped to about 6C and it then hailed for 2 hours. Best advice I have: Stay hydrated Stay out of the sun during the peak time (here it's 11am-4pm) - so adjust your day to it. In the Summer we get up early, about 6am have breakfast etc and work until 11am. Then we take a long break until 4 and then return to work until 8pm. Evening meal time is usually about 10pm. If we have a day off we usually spend the day swimming etc at the Playeta (kind of like a man made lake and beach up in the mountains). Best part of Summer is the weather as I like the sun and heat. Worst part is having to work during it. My daughter's summer vacation runs late June to start of October and the most time I can take off is about 2 weeks. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. I dislike the heat, I live up north in the States maybe 7 hours from Canada. It's like 70F (20C) right now and I can't stand it. Give me sunny and 60F (15C) any day. But I typically drink a lot of water/cold tea, while inside with the AC on, sitting in front of the vent. I personally love winter time minus the snow/ice.

I live in an area where it gets 80-90 Degrees F. on average during the summer. (26-32 degrees Celsius I think)
It doesn't really bother me since I'm kind of cold natured and love hot dry summers. If it gets too hot inside I just turn up the AC. The main thign I worry about is how the weather is affecting the wood on my guitars. -------------------- My Sound Cloud Profile: http://soundcloud.com/casinostrat
