Special thanks to our own Gitarrero (Christian, our Shredding German!) for coming up with the idea for

DEATHSTEP COLLAB

essentially mixing house/dub-step/ambient with Death Metal and BINGO! DEATHSTEP! smile.gif

Not a huge fan of keyboard music in general but this sounds too fun to pass up! More to come smile.gif GMCer JESSE is going to help with the STEP part of our track and I"m going to work on the DEATH! smile.gif

This also means you can start 2 hours early on the backing track laugh.gif

Awesome Todd, really cool to see that this idea comes alive!
And all because of some weird noises in your house/computer/guitar...whereever it came from biggrin.gif

I first read their name as 'We Butter the Bread with No Butter' laugh.gif

That's crazy.. those pig squeals are really sinister and made me quite uncomfortable huh.gif

I thought it was some sort of technical issue at first, but nope, the pig squeals are really in there! wink.gif Thank for sharing that Nihilist, I think I'm gonna have nightmares about it. Seriously though, good share wink.gif I think we might be heading for something less industrial and more ambient ALA "DubStep", "BroStep", "DarkAmbient" etc. All of which are worth a quick youtube search. You'll find crazy stuff you'd otherwise never see. Not many have pig sqeals, but such is life!

I just found this song to be somewhat relative to the topic at hand. I don't normally listen to this kind of stuff biggrin.gif

Pig squeals don't really do it for me. wink.gif

Although, this song is quite comical. It is about someone who does nothing with their life other than play World of Warcraft because they are addicted. At a certain point they even make fun of their lyrics and say that their song makes no sense(in relation to the pig squeals).

Someone mentioned squealing pigs?! I am going for a deep/dark/ambient/deathmetal ish vibe... so I added some of those;P only in the intro tho, so you immediately feel dark and gloomy when you hear it. (I cant listen to it anymore at a high volume.... makes me feel soooooooooooooooooooooo uncomfortable.

https://www.box.com/s/db4e47019b4fd766afb5

This is it now, still working on it!

I am gonna turn it into a complete 2/3 minute tune for myself as well.
