I'm so happy to know that Slash and Black Label Society will do a concert in Argentina in November!! It's amazing to have two of my favourite players playing the same day in the same Stadium... I'm anxious now!!! smile.gif

How's he looking ? I read a while a while back that he gave up the drink and now drinks non alcoholic beer but he's got a bit big and had a few health problems.. hopefully he's better now.

He's ok now..i remember an interview about giving up his massive beer consumption.
His doctor set of the alarm because his liver was giving up on him....then he just stopped
drinking....that would be my worst nightmare... huh.gif

Now that i think about it ..slash stopped for similar reasons since he had a pacemaker inplant.
He was having cardiomyopathie wich is lethal in most cases , now it's under control..

Really ? I didn't know about that..

Just goes to show.. kids, hard partying is no good for you !

Just as a side note, one thing that annoys me is when people always use Lemmy as some kind of example that you can drink/take drugs all your life and still be ok.. but really, if you look at him closely, he's not in good shape. He's got the shakes all the time and he does look every bit his age, and more..

I must agree with you Ben, Lemmy stayed at the Marriot hotel which is right across the road from where I live and a friend of mine caught him while he was going in and took a pic with him. Man the dude had the shakes BAD...

Can't agree more. It's cool to have fun but having that "rockstar lifestyle" that bands like Motley Crue, Motorhead, Gun's & Roses or Ozzy used to have can affect our health forever.
