I think that people are really good at recognising different things.. some can be faces, some can be names, some could be songs, sounds etc.. for example, my girlfriend is really excellent at recognising voices, even when they're doing a different accent. So, are you good at recognising anything ?

I can recognize if my wife is in a bad mood as soon as I walk in the door. It's about that time when I turn around and head back to work laugh.gif laugh.gif

On a serious note though - I have an ear for music - I can recognize when a relative pitch is a few cents off. It's both a blessing and curse - I can tune my guitar quickly given only one starting pitch - I can even down-tune a string with a single motion. The curse however, is that I'm extremely critical when it comes to listening to music. I can hear the "B" string in your chord drifting on you bud, and it's making me miserable smile.gif

A bit off topic from music, I can see a lot of details while being on the streets and I have this thing for ALWAYS noticing people from a great distance before they would ever get the chance to notice me tongue.gif It's always fun to surprise them biggrin.gif

I'm good at remembering faces. If I bump into someone that I haven't seen in 20 years I'll recognise their face but not necessarily recall their name.
I also have good observational skills. Should have been a Detective or a Forensic Expert!!

I have this thing where if I see somebody who looks like a famous person. I'll say, "Looks it's Jack Nicholson!". It may not be an exact match but more of resembling characteristics.

On a similar note, I run a family retail shop & about a year ago an older man & younger man were in the store. The younger guy looked an awful lot like Ben. I know I kept staring at the dude & was trying to think of a way to comment on it but was concerned it may come off sounding creepy. I never said anything, of course but it was weird. I had forgotten about it until this post.

Haha, the guy in the store was Rusty Cooley.. who probably has loads of people telling him on a daily basis 'You look like Ben Higgins..' laugh.gif

But yeah, to your original point, I know exactly what you mean ! smile.gif

I'm good at recognizing songs even if just one or two beats were played laugh.gif

And faces, I can recall them easily, but not the names necessarily. Makes a few awkward situations though..."Hey, I know we've met in the gym but I can't recall your name!" laugh.gif

And no Ben, this is not my usual pick-up line...

I can memorize surroundings and places. I can see it in 3D in my head. So I won't get lost easily.
Also at work I can memorize where all the stuff are. Ex. when someone ask where is this or that. I can point out it.

But this thing doesn't work at home. I'm always searching something...where's my usb cable, screwdriver, latest magazine etc. smile.gif

Oh yeah I suck at remembering people names. Introduce someone to me and I can't remember his/her name afterwards. But after a week I can laugh.gif

No, because your normal line is..

'Hey, I know we've met in a bar somewhere but I can't recall your name !' tongue.gif

P.S. I've tried your lines and they don't work.. I want my money back !!

As it is clearly stated in my program, the lines alone do not work...you have to come up with interesting stories afterwards, pay attention to your clothes and your general appearance in advance and so on. Be honest, you just tried the lines...
