New Guitar: Hamer Californian, Anyone Else Have/Played This Guitar?

I had read that these had CRAZY thin necks, of which I"m a big fan so I thought I'd try one. I was shocked when I played a PARKER recently, as it's neck was about HALF the thickness of my cherished RG560 but those guitars cost more than my car Here is a pic. I have a friend/customer who collects nothing but Hamers! Those Claifornians are superb instruments, great build quality (as you'd expect!!). In regards to the neck dimensions, if I can remember correctly, I'd say that it's pretty close width-wise to your Ibanez but will be a noticeably bit thinner depth-wise! When I bought an ESP Horizon a few years back I was amazed by how much harder it was to play due to the thicker neck. The Centaura is a speed machine, I'd imagine the Californian is similar. Overall very quality guitar for its' price!!! U know , i thought of buying parts from ebay (neck & body from same guitar) 'cos they're cheaper that way, then assembling them by myself . Although they were Korean made not USA made they were still very good value for money, though the hardware was very well manufactured as was the pattern Floyd Bridge, it wasn't of the best quality. The USA models had either Gotoh or Sperzel tuners and original Floyd. I love how the fret board is cut on an angle and has the extra frets. I'm sure it will be a shred machine. I'm curious to know your thoughts on it when it arrives! ESP makes awesome guitars and killer players swear by them. Having said that, compared with my Ibanez guitars, even my 7 string Ibanez, every ESP I've played was simply a bit more work in general. some folks like having to dig in more. I"m just not one of them. Again, not bashing ESP, as I mentioned they make amazing instruments. The necks, for me, seem a tad thicker and make the hand work a bit more than Ibby's. But to each his own This is actually part of why I"m selling my ESP 8 string and buying a Hamer and another Ibanez I've got a XIPHOS on the way as well! I lost track of them and didn't even knew they were still there...i still remember the times when i ate guitarmagazines Hamer was all over the place in those mags .. I'm more fan of Jackson/ Charvel guitars made in middle of 80's . I think that nothing beats those guitars in terms of : Sound, Craftmanship,, reliability and Ofcourse Price. I have never tried it but I tried other models by Hamer, and I can say that their guitars has a very good quality and are relatively cheap. Gotta say this one just looked amazing which is why I wanted it. I almost thought it was an ibanez maple top at first then the headstock looked like an old Kramer but said HAMER.
