The signal chain was a bad horsie wah (with default settings)->Pod HD pro->computer via USB.

I can't remember the exact chain for the pod HD patch, I could probably post it as an attachment if people are intereted, though. I *think* it was a tube driver at ~1/3rd gain->screamer at 2/3rds gain->Marshall plexi 100->4x12 with condensor mic->digital delay->reverb.

It sounds a little more high-endy than the original, sounds more like the live tone vai uses I think, but could do with some refinement.

Well, either way it defo sounds good, with plenty of juice for legato which is just what you need for that kind of thing wink.gif
