Good morning mate!
The idea is that if you learn all the notes on the neck in this way, you will then go to more complex forms, such as intervals, chords, arpeggios and scale sequences, but this is the simplest element you can start with Regarding alternate picking, how would you fare with this lesson here? https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Picking-Hand-Basics/ Cosmin |

Thanks! Yes there were some "hick-ups" but I recorded and sent it anyways.

Yes of course I will Very good mate, even if there are small mistakes, it's important that you record as often as possible and correct the stuff afterwards Anyway, looking forward to hearing about your experience with the octave exercise and in the mean time, for the AP practice, why don't you check this one out? https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Inside-Outside-Picking/ Cosmin |

Hi Cosmin!
Since almost the day I signed up at GMC I have practiced on Trond Vold's "rock solo - beginner lesson". I find it very hard to play the whole thing without any mistakes, there is always 3-4 minor mistakes, but now I have finally recorded it and I am quite happy with the results even though there is some mistakes So here it is Now I am going to seriously practice on the outside-inside picking. Hey Andrew! The timing is generally good, but quite a few bands are not hitting the correct pitch, while the vibrato should be more even and wide. What do you say if we focus on correcting these for a while? These elements are of crucial importance in your playing and they should be treated accordingly. If you still plan on tackling the inside outside picking - this should do the trick to start with: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Inside-Outside-Picking/
What do you think? Cosmin |

That sounds like a good plan
Yes, the inside-outside picking is what I am training on now. And while I do that I think I am ready to take the octave-practice to the next step |
