I received a newsletter today from a big metal and rock music oriented community - metalhead.ro and in the news section, there was this article with metal bands from...countries in Africa smile.gif And I don't mean South Africa...

Well, you would be surprised to hear some good metal music from totally unlikely places - these parts of the world are dangerous and totally not friendly for this sort of artistic manifestation, in my opinion and yet, amazing people are carrying the flag of metal!

Check out a few of these bands:

From Zambia

From Botswana

What do you think about these guys? biggrin.gif

Do you know any bands, having a particularly odd provenience?

Cosmin

I was asking because if things go well with the resources this year, I would like to make a brave attempt and visit South America somewhere next year biggrin.gif

Mate, I think that traveling is the best heritage you can gather in a lifetime. You can't take physical possessions along with you in your grave, but when you think back on all that you have seen, felt, heard, tasted, smelled and enjoyed, you realize that you are truly a rich man smile.gif

Thanks Gabe! There was this tour of some South American countries, at a travel agency of an acquaintance, where you could visit a lot of places, all inclusive with around 900 euros. I think it's fairly cheap for what the whole tour has included. I'll have to reflect upon this biggrin.gif Oh and the plane ticket is included too - sounds too good for reality, right?
