Hi Josh!! Welcome to your Gab's Army thread!!

Could you please tell me a bit about you, your musical tastes, influences, strengths and weaknesses? I would need some videos of you playing rhythm and solo guitar, so please post your best material here. If you have some music or ideas of your own, also post them here. Also let me know how you think that I can help you and what are your expectations for our job. You can check the other Army's thread to discover the different modalities of this project.

The principles of our Army are:

+ Improve your technique
+ Make music and solos
+ Have fun
+ Destroy the enemy (hahaha not realy just kidding... )

Hey thanks for your reply, I love 80s glam metal and hard rock, Love judas priest, Lynch Mob, Dokken, Roxx Gang, tons of modern stuff like satriani, vai, pretty much any rock, i love RATT lol, Randy rhoads and george lynch are prob my favorite guitarists although lately i've really been diving into guthrie govans stuff and he'S NUTS, i'm always learning and always looking to learn

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FFQKMrj4hg theres a youtube video of my take on your F# phrygian solo haha its very tough, its not a full speed but i think it was a valiant try. lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_fZNPnl2-c Theres my first riff i ever came up with and recorded it over a drum track, then went back and played a little bit of lead over it to sound full.

Those are the most recent stuff, if you look on my youtube page you'l see a bunch of old videos and you can see how i was then and how i am now. Thanks for the reply again and looking forward to hearing back : )

Josh

Heres one more i just uploaded for soloing purposes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Z9avaOZqk...eature=youtu.be

lol as you can see/hear i need dire direction,

Hi mate! thanks for this information. It will be a pleasure to work with you. You have a good guitar level by now but we have to adjust your technique and timing. We will use GMC lessons for that but we will also use the collaborations to work on soloing composition.

Let's start with this lesson, please concentrate on your timing:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...picking-thirds/

and this one for expression and feeling:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/guitar_loves_piano/

Besides this two lessons, it would be great if you choose one of the active collabs to join.

Please tell me what you think! wink.gif
