Hey guys! As I always say, I love to discover new bands (they can be old ones but new to me...) all the time and today I found that thread about Dubstep with electric guitars and now I'm listening to that band (Celldweller). I think that it would be cool to share here the last bands that we have been listening to or discovered...

Right now I'm listening to this band called The Tweed Strings!

They are all three friends of mine that I grew up with and they just released their debut album. Some covers some originals.

It's free to download here!

I will say it may not sound the greatest quality wise because of recording limitations (I'm guessing) but these guys have worked hard since we were kids and have always had fun doing what they love. I urge you guys to take a listen and hit up their Facebook page!

This is a band I found a while ago and forgot about, and my son reminded me about this song tonight and thought it perfect to share here. It's a crazy and different and strange song. And I love it and the video.

Sort of along this line, I"ve found a band I sorta dig called THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE. Semi Goth/Rock/Pop stuff. But I really dig the gal singing lead.

Both bands do something I dont think bands do enough, and thats value there lyricism. Both have singers who depict ideas and worlds with eloquent well structured verses, something seriously lacking in music I think. Lyrics are not valued enough.

Orchid are a new band ( to me ) that Ive recently started listening to. They seem to get a bit of hassle for being too much like Sabbath but personally I think they are damn fine and I really dont care!
I really like Black Sabbath.......... and these guys biggrin.gif

I had this song on repeat for an entire day at work cool.gif

How about some good old sludge metal. This was yesterdays Sunday sludge from Heavy Planet. Love Sunday's.
