I upgraded to Guitar Rig 5 a couple of weks ago, I just didn't even try it yet :-) Didn't have the time so far, but I am curious about the sounds.

It can be used on drums, bass, vocals etc. There are even entire sections of presets for drums,bass, etc. I've been using guitar rig for quite a while and it's handy for recording at home since you can use headphones and sort of make it sound like you have a MASSIVE guitar amp in an isolation booth somewhere just sitting and waiting. You can share/trade presets too! I started a preset thread here on GMC.
