A Deep Fried Mars Bar ?!

Make a thick pancake batter, immerse the Mars Bars in the batter and then put straight into Deep Fat Fryer! I tried these in Glasgow after we played there once at Glasgow Barrowlands. It was quite nice, even though I'm not a massive eater of chocolate/sweet things! They also did Deep Fried Pizza at the one I got the Mars Bars from too!! When I was in Las Vegas they had deep fried Snickers and Twinkies that had frosting and sprinkles on it. I didn't try but they looked really good. I think the way you make them... 1) Chill (but do not freeze) the Mars bar by leaving it in a fridge, or freezer, for a short while. 2) Mix 1 cup milk, 1 cup flour and 1 egg in a bowl. Whisk together to create a creamy batter. 3) Heat lots of oil in a deep fryer. 4) Coat the Mars bar completely in batter. 5) Lower into hot oil (around 350-375 degrees Fahrenheit, 175-190 Celsius) and fry until batter is golden brown. (Note: be careful to lower it gently; otherwise the batter may come off) Health benefits: 419 Cal of pure energy. About the same amount as a Big Mac, just without that unnecessary protein and side scrape of lettuce. Mars Bar has disowned all knowledge of these... Enjoy!
