The tip from my head phone jack broke off in my M Audio Fast Track pro head phone socket. sad.gif

The interface still works but I obviously can't use it with headphones, anyone got inspired ideas on how to get it out.

I opened the box and found the socket is a closed component so can't get to the tip from the outside.

What are your Tech Skills like? If you can find a Thread Cutting Tap that will fit inside the broken piece you may be able to slightly cut a thread into the inside of it and then draw it out using the Tap.

I tried a drill bit, similar to your thread cutter idea, and I've tried super glue on the end of a bolt, it's just knowing what I've got to work with at the broken end to attach to

Try something plastic with the super glue. The very inside of those plugs is plastic too, you might get a better bond!
