> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! Good job on this take! I noticed that you added an extra solo to this one and it sounds really cool! smile.gif Your take is good but it need to sound tighter. So isolate the riff and the arpeggios and practice them over metronome until it sounds tight. wink.gif

Hi Isiah, great to see you around again ! smile.gif

Man, that's an incredibly brutal tone that you've got there. Sounds like it would tear faces off !

You're a little bit behind on parts of the main riff and most of the arpeggio section. You're playing it right, just need a bit more quickness in places ok ?

P.S. That is one shiny table ! cool.gif

Very good take! I love your sound! Very tight! You are slowing down in this song especially in the arpeggios section
I would suggest to practice this lesson at a slower tempo with a metronome and it will be brilliant in no time!

Hey Isiah, as the guys are saying and as we discussed in your thread, slowing things down and gaining tightness and perfect timing are the key here smile.gif

I am waiting for the next take! biggrin.gif Let's keep up the good work, shall we?
