But, it's wikipedia so it could be part of the whole hoax/persona. I tried to verify beyond that page/entry, and that's where the details got very vague. Not saying it IS Gilbert, but not convinced Buckethead is actually that Brian Carroll guy either. Hmmm.... huh.gif

hehehehe smile.gif Yeah, sadlly no. He's not Paul Gilbert. You can dig deeper on google and find some forums or whatever source you might trust a bit more smile.gif

Not sure but I know that Paul Gilbert has a size 14 in shoes tongue.gif, but yeah Paul Gilbert isn't Buckethead.

On the evening of September 22, 2012:

Paul Gilbert is playing at Wembley Arena in London, England.
Buckethead is playing at the Knitting Factory in Boise, Idaho.

I figured someone here would prove this "theory" wrong....

Actually Buckethead is the other gunman on the grassy knoll.

There might be a gold mine up my dog's butt, but I doubt it, and I am not going to try and look just to prove that theory wrong.

I actually meant that in response to Ben, who was the first in this thread to provide proof (sorry Todd, I don't fully trust wikipedia...but I DO trust the GMC wiki! biggrin.gif ) that Gilbert is not Buckethead.

Anyway, thought it would be a fun (joke) discussion since I don't know anything about buckethead, and it seemed like an interesting conspiracy theory. Plus, Gilbert is so wacky...I won't not have put something like this past him.

But, it looks like Buckethead is only Buckethead. dry.gif

I think Ive had 'Soothsayer', 'Whitewash' and 'machete' on a permanent replay for the last few days huh.gif

I've seen Paul and Buckethead standing next to each other at NAMM. I'm pretty sure they aren't the same guy. However I've never seen Bucket head and Wierd Al at the same party. Just Sayin'

Here is a rare picture of Buckethead as a child.
