Hey. i have only learned to play guitar at home. and i play now at level 5, but im thinking about if there is anything i should know, like theory and stuff. i dont know anything. i can just play, and thats is it.

I always thought the Faroe islands were part of Scotland, I've just learned something new today.

Hey BjarturFO.. it's good to welcome another Viking to GMC ! smile.gif

Well I think a lot of us learn guitar and get to a certain level without knowing theory. The good news is that you can learn about it any time. The first thing I would do is learn what it is that you're already doing, instead of learning new things on top of it.

Do you know about the basic minor and major scale ?

Pentatonic ?

What about modes like Mixolydian etc ?
