Hi guys

My brother decided to get into the guitar world, metal side (he likes neoclassical stuff and old rock music). cool.gif

So he ask me if I could find him a gear that would fit his criterias, which are :

• Playing neoclassical stuff.
• Max 300 euros included bargain price with guitar, amp, some pedalswitches perhaps.

I hope you can help me because those criterias are difficult to match biggrin.gif

Thank you !

Thanks everyone !

I told my brother that this Amp is great : http://www.leboncoin.fr/instruments_de_mus...003.htm?ca=15_s

And he wants that guitar : http://www.leboncoin.fr/instruments_de_mus...488.htm?ca=15_s

What do you think of these two choices ?

Your guitars are way too expensive (300$ = around 270€), he wants amp and effects with that price.

Thanks a lot guys ! Your proposals helps me a lot for chosing the good one smile.gif

Looks like some good choices to me. I know some of the Marshall valve state practice amps have some decent crunch to it. If you have a little money left over for like a boss Ds-1 distortion pedal then I think he'll be set. Not sure about that Ibanez model?

Here are some reviews on it:

Wooow that Boss DS-1 almost cost 60€, amazing O_o.

The overall reviews seem to be quite good. There are some imperfections but that's correct for that price isn't it ?

I think my brother won't even notice these problems.

I'm still looking for a better guitar at a decent price, I'll suggest him all the guitars showed here.

Thanks !

People seem to not be reading the original post? He was asking for suggestings for

"guitar, amp, some pedalswitches perhaps."

so offering up a $300 guitar doesn't leave any room for an amp Sadly sad.gif

If you are looking an entire setup for around that price, you are going to have to compromise. The good news is you can still BE METAL for about that price smile.gif How about a combo like this.

1.)BC Rich Warlock (Very Metal)
2.)Decent Practice Amp

The bundle is $299 from Musicians friend so I"m guessing the European Vendors have something similar.
