Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: String Skipping Lesson 2 by Muris Varajic

Hello :) Here is me after a very long time posting a REC take. This lesson took a long time to learn and even longer time to try to get to the final tempo.. I am still not very pleased with my performance but I thought it is maybe good enough for a REC take. I will be waiting for your valuable feedback... Thanks for listening :)

Hey! Nice to see you again! Great job on this one! smile.gif
It is not an easy lesson to play and you did very good! I think you are getting a lot of extra notes on your alternative picking you got the positions and notes right on the left hand but the right one does too many movements more than it should!
I would suggest working on it at a slower tempo using a metronome and make sure your hands working in sync!
Keep it up!

Mert! Hey man smile.gif Well, I've probably been the most constant observer of your journey with this lesson, so indeed, more time and slow practice will solidify everything. It's the way to do it man smile.gif

Woo !! Very impressive Mert. This is the best I've seen yet smile.gif

Only things that can be criticised are a little bit of string noise in some places and I think you only hit 1, maybe 2 wrong notes with your left hand which is a massive improvement.

The hand synch is loads better - well done !! Have a Strupwafel biggrin.gif

Awesome!! You are close mate! smile.gif

I think that if you fix the hands synch issue you will play this one perfectly. It's not an easy lesson and the synch becomes more difficult when you have string skipping, but if you keep on practising this, with metronome at slower tempos you will master it.
