Stoner Rock/metal, how to get the right tone |

That amazing Stoner tone is a combination of your amps gain (not much) and any fuzz pedal. Their sound is a combination of different pedals trying to emulate that 70's overdriven sound that Black Sabath, MC5 and even Hendrix had but in the case of Stoner metal, with more drive.
There is not 1 way to get the tone, you have to experiment, but the addition of fuzz pedals and also any other one like an overdrive or even a booster could work. Some of the most used pedals are the Big Muff and many other EHX pedals, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Boss SD-2, SIB Echodrive. That seems to be the kind of thing I hear.
