That amazing Stoner tone is a combination of your amps gain (not much) and any fuzz pedal. Their sound is a combination of different pedals trying to emulate that 70's overdriven sound that Black Sabath, MC5 and even Hendrix had but in the case of Stoner metal, with more drive.
There is not 1 way to get the tone, you have to experiment, but the addition of fuzz pedals and also any other one like an overdrive or even a booster could work. Some of the most used pedals are the Big Muff and many other EHX pedals, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Boss SD-2, SIB Echodrive. Also a wah wah and modulation pedal would help to sound closer (chorus and phaser).

here you can find the best muff and fuzz pedals out there (from my point of view)

Gab would you also say that a lot of Stoner/70's metal tone keeps a lot of the Bass frequency and not too much treble either ? That seems to be the kind of thing I hear. smile.gif

Don't forget to roll your volume knob(on the guitar) back the tiniest bit to remove any excess treble. This can help shape the tone tremendously.

With the TH30, I recommend starting with the Treble at four, the bass at 6 and the shape at 5. Continue to shape the tone as you wish, but always keep the bass higher than the treble. Keep the gain at about 3 or 4, and use a fuzz or OD pedal if you want any more. I recommend using a Big Muff or a Pro Co Rat Box. Especially the Big Muff!
