It looks damn good.

Everybody's really hating on it because Tom Cruise is playing the character and Reacher is supposed to be 6'5, fair haired, 220lbs-ish. If people don't compare it to the books though and just watch it as a stand alone film I think it's gonna rock hard ! Cruise is always good anyway !

Has anybody read any of the Jack Reacher books, written by Lee Child ? I've only read the first 2. I love them and can't wait to get the rest !

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that muscle car in the vid is a Chevelle SS ?

I've noticed them being featured in more movies of late. Faster with Dwayne Johnson, The Shooter with Mark Wahlberg.

Jack Reacher is a fictional character that seems to have become massively popular over the last few years. There's quite a lot of books. They don't actually have his name in the titles so maybe that's why nobody really makes the connection.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Reacher

He's an ex military policeman who quit and is now a drifter across the USA and he ends up getting into all kinds of crap. He's as tough as nails and kills people with his bare hands etc.. good stuff ! biggrin.gif

In the first novel, he goes to a town because he wanted to find out more about a dead blues guitarist..
