I have written some exercises lately (on tux guitar), that have helped my alt picking and would like to share them , how can I upload these so others can try them

Make a reply on your thread ,

reply window opens where you can write....

and on the end you can see choose file -- upload it .. takes a while

then on the end left side Attachments Manage current Attachments choose the fill .

tried that, something about tux won't give me permission to do that

Forum might not be recognizing this file extension.
Please put it in a .zip file and try uploading again.

I would suggest saving a Guitar Pro 5 file when going to "save as" in Tux Guitar.
That way folks who use Guitar Pro will be able to use the tabs as well (and you will be able to upload it easily in the forum).

Please let me know how it goes and if you need help about how to save in Guitar Pro format.

file converted to gtpro , but I don't know how to convert it t a zip . thanks

Please try uploading .gtp5 file directly here in the forum as attahcment - it should work.

Posting as an attachment works great for .gp5 files. Can you export as a .gp5? If posting as an attachment doesn't work, just zip it and upload as an attachment like the guys are saying. smile.gif I

here is an example of using gp5 files as an attachment in a post.
