I was wondering if anyone else have been listening to Paul Gilbert's latest album, a huge difference from the Racer X stuff laugh.gif , but still great since its Mr. Gilbert, and now with the amazing Thomas Lang on drums!

It's called Vibrato released 15th October (EU), includes 4 tracks with vocals, 4 instrumental tracks & 3 live cover tracks

Features:
Paul - Guitar & Vocals
Emi (Paul's wife) - Keys & Vocals
Kelly LeMieux - Bass
Thomas Lang - Drums

This song is called Vibrato and I actually really like hes singing in this one, really fits the song

and something instrumental if you've just heard Technical Difficulties and then heard this one, you'd probably never believe that this is a song by Paul Gilbert wink.gif

and a live track Go Down by AC/DC!

HUGE difference. But that's Paul for ya smile.gif Have you checked out his Blues albums? He has really grown and changed over the years and become a vary wide ranging and eclectic musician. I"m really impressed with his range and creativity but yeah it's sooooooooooo way diffferent than his early stuff that it's almost hard to believe it's the same guy.

Marty Friedman solo albums, for example, still sound like Mary Friedman. Pauls newer stuff can be pretty much anything. : )

I'm a big PG fan, but I'm not a fan of his vocals, it's a shame he didn't get Freddy Nelson to sing for him, the album they did together was cool
