Last Flyleaf Album With Lacy |

I only just started listening to Flyleaf this past year.. I know, where have I been, right? Lacey's voice to me defines Flyleaf, and after their announcement that this will be Lacey's last album with the band, I'm now sitting here depressed. Just wanted to share cuz that's what's on my mind.

I understand that, for me, living life to the fullest in this season means to step down as the lead singer for Flyleaf. I wish the best to Jared, Pat, Sameer and James and I know that as I continue to pursue the highest heights of what I am created for, it will free them all to pursue that for themselves too.
The guys will continue to tour and write music together. I'm so very grateful that they are able to do what they desire and that there is a beautiful and talented, warm hearted girl like Kristen May to sing for them. Because of this, you will all get a chance to see a new Flyleaf show and support the new album. As I take this first step on a new journey, I pray that each one of you would pursue your highest calling with reckless abandon as well, understanding that sometimes the fullness of life comes in doing things that are only understood by you, God, and the special people God has put in your life that truly love you for you… not for what you do, but for who you are. I love you guys so much and in many ways, I will stay in touch. Bad news! I like this band... however I didn't hear the previous album too much, I heard it once and I didn't like it... what about this new one?
I'm now checking the new singer at youtube, she can sing but his style seems to be different... let's see what happen... this is the new singer: -------------------- My lessons

The live video is promising... this must be one of her first shows and she did a good job... let's give her more time.

I haven't listened to that much of their stuff, out of what I remember, there was this song called 'I'm so sick' which I liked. Good band nevertheless!

I've only discovered them in the last year also and must say I loved the emotion she puts into her singing. Awesome. I've played alot of Flyleaf in the last year. The latest album hasn't rocked as hard unfortunately. Although "Fire, Fire" is good. I guess time will tell with Kristen May. She sounds good. Here are a couple of their great tunes. yeah, if the latest albums aren't rocking means that the connection between the band was failing... maybe this change could make them again the great band that we liked. Who knows...
