I don't record with a plan, I just sit and record, I pick a looped drum beat and create to it what ever I feel at that time, I don't know if its a bunch of noise mashed together or if its really a piece of art, I listen to things that I wrote years ago and think that it sounds really good so I know that one day I will wonder how did I ever come up with something like this

Thanks for sharing your ideas! I think that this is a very good starting point to create your own album. I think that you could check all these ideas and keep the ones that you like more, work a bit more on them, produce the tracks, add more instruments, arrangements and release your album. smile.gif

Interesting stuff! It does have a "Noise" element, but it feels very "Off the Cuff" and Experimental so if that's what you were going for you nailed it !!!!!

Hey Bas! Congrats mate - a lot of interesting ideas in here. I think the tone of the riff section is a bit too overwhelmed with highs - might be you should lower them?

I agree with Cosmin about this new track. There are many cool ideas there but it's a bit difficult to enjoy because of the quantity of highs in your tone. What amp (or emulator) are you using for your guitar?

Good decision. You don't need too much distortion to get a powerful metal tone. The only thing that you get adding to much distortion is to lose clarity in your tone. Also check the EQ, you should lower a bit treble or presence.
