At last.. 8 years after the inception of The Reckoning, I am proud to say that the debut album 'Defining Armageddon' is officially released today, Saturday 1st December 2012 !

The album is available only on itunes here

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/defining-...don/id582769836

Here's a couple of tracks from the album, featuring a couple of names you may recognise.. Daniel Realpe and Piotr Kaczor

Wall of Eyes, Daniel Realpe takes the 2nd solo !!

Hour of Lament, Piotr Kaczor also takes the 2nd solo !!

I've been asked a lot about releasing the album on cd but the time isn't right yet because 1. I can't afford it and 2. I'd probably only sell about 10 and be left with hundreds of cd's I can't shift so for the time being it's digital only smile.gif

Hope you guys like it.. now you finally get to hear exactly the kind of thing I write and how I play !

duder, the artwork and backstories are savage! totally different concepts to most of the stuff I usually listen to, its really cool mate, nice one smile.gif
just downloaded the album and giving it a blast, it sounds the business cool.gif
Since getting possesed by norwegian black metal Ive been listening to loads of old school metal and your album is fitting in very nicely to my current playlists biggrin.gif

WOW ! Thanks my friend biggrin.gif

I'm glad you're digging the artwork.. I was really happy seeing it go up finally smile.gif It's funny because although some of the basic ideas are similar to the songs meanings, the characters themselves and some of the added events were created recently.. so the concepts were inspired by the songs rather than writing songs about the concepts smile.gif

I always had it in my mind though that Defining Armageddon, Running from the Fire, Hour of Lament and The Havoc Unleashed followed each other and were like a mini concept within an album.

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDD ! YOU RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULE !!!

Thank you very much my friend !! biggrin.gifI agree about the digital thing. I think CD's are great and I'll still buy them but they're only worth it if you have a record company behind you and/or huge fanbase.

I will be able to view the stats sometime in January ! smile.gif
