> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Great to see another REC from you smile.gif

This is a big improvement over your 1st take of this lesson - well done. The rhythm is much better.

The lead guitar parts in the second half are still causing you a bit of trouble. I think it's mainly the left hand which is a little bit out of control. If you can co ordinate it better with your picking hand then you will be overcoming the problem.

Isolate the areas like 1:02-1:03 and practise them slowly and keep repeating them but make sure that every repetition is correct. I have a saying for this: Give yourself time to get it right smile.gif

I can hear huge improvement in your playing! Very well done! I agree with Ben that solo still needs work try to work on it at a slower tempo this way you will have a full control over your hands and all your movements will be played correctly
This way when you will increase the tempo it will be much easier for you to play the lead! Great job overall keep it up!

Howdy man! I can also see and hear improvements but you still need to give yourself some time on this one. it's not an easy task, but try to get it down in perfect timing at 50 % of the original speed and work things up from there smile.gif Try to get at least 2 perfect takes in a row, each time and trust me once you'll reach top speed, it's gonna be there!

Hi mate! Well, you already learnt the whole lesson perfectly, the problem are mostly the faster rhythms becase your right hand can achieve the speed needed. I recommend you to work on this lesson at slower tempos until you feel comfortable with the palm muting section and also with the faster parts of the last melody... you could create your own exercises based on those parts...
