> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: The Devil Is In The Diad by Ben Higgins

Hi everyone! It's been a long white since I posted anything on GMC. Few things get between me and my guitar last year, but I'm trying to get back in shape:) Hope You like my takes.

The Polish Warrior is back !!! \m/

I see the hair is also longer.. like a true man !

As Alex said, video is currently set to private so will enjoy taking a look once it's set to public. Great to have you back ! smile.gif

Ok, now I can see it - nice !

Wow, your rhythm chops are even tighter than before. You remember that I always used to pick up on your tendency to rush in front of the beat ? Not here... it's as tight as.......well, something really tight !

On the constant strumming parts you let the last chord ring out where as I keep strumming, but I think it works either way.

For the single note riffs I would recommend using just down strokes there to make it sound stronger and more muscular, so that's the only thing preventing a full 10 but sound wise, it's all top notch ! cool.gif

It is a very good take! Sounds in the "pocket" and the whole song feels very tight!!! I will agree with Ben about down strokes! It will make it even tighter! Overall amazing job!!!
