Task 45: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Antoni...nter-Arpeggios/

We're staying in the realm of epic guitar for a while and this is definitely another epic piece. It could almost be seen as the build up to another storm..

As you can hear, Cosmin isn't using masses of gain, just enough to make the notes sustain and sound fluid.

There's lots of tricky 'inside' picking on this one, so it may be a challenge to keep the tempo nice and even with all the string switching.

So grab your weapons of choice and evoke the spirit of trees with bare branches, frost covered fields and the winter sun !!

Deadline is next Friday 14th December or I make you live on raw potatoes for a week !

Cool, guys. But you both play according to the tab, which has at least two notes different from what Cosmin plays. tongue.gif

I'm seriously considering actually completing this one, for once. But if I do, I will pick everything.

I don't know about the different notes but I am picking everything up down up down all the way AP..

Yes, but if I'm not mistaken, Cosmin plays the pivot section with legato. Feels more natural for me to pick all the way.

The notes I'm referring to are the last one in Part 3 (tab says C, Cosmin plays Bb) and 7th one in Part 5 (tab says D#, Cosmin plays F).

Hey,
I've been working on this one all week. It was so difficult to me to get the shapes! Then I had to build speed. I could not make it to full speed. Anyway, here is what I can do at 110bpm. I couldn't imagine I would play "that fast" 6 days ago, so I'm quite happy with this.
Cheers

Very well played Double G !! That tone is perfect for this too. Sounds like you got the inside picking down as well - great work ! Donut !

Great stuff from the Big H !! That bit starting at 0:15 is a b*tch isn't it ? All that inside picking.. still, you did a grand job though. As for the ending... you have an eye for details !! biggrin.gif

I thought this would be a good one to get the fingers flowing again...
What I thought would be a nice warm up turned into a bigger challenge than expected. Much respect to the takes posted here! I had a hell of a time with a couple spots as far as finger shifting and some of the picking when changing strings. Put many hours of practice into this one. Nice and short so it is at least easier to practice over and over.

I was looking out for those notes that H4H pointed out. I followed the tap and was watching Cosmin's video but couldn't figure out where? I felt like I'm doing a couple spots slightly different but its hard for me to notice. smile.gif

Sounds good to me, soldier !! All that inside picking is what makes that kind of thing tricky in my opinion but you did a grand job ! smile.gif
