Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Are you ready for some Christmas guitar vibes? Thought so too biggrin.gif

Well, since last evening in the video chat we have built together a half of the backing track for the new collab, I cooked up the other half today and I stuck the two together for your entertainment smile.gif

So, all in a nutshell, I decided that two songs will be just great since I managed to pull three musical styles out of each and since the tonality remained C major, it's only going to be a matter of phrasing and style for your themes and lines.

We have Deck the Halls and Jingle Bells, two of the most wonderful well known Christmas carols, three musical styles - metal, samba and reggae and one tonality - C major.

What you guys have to do, is come up with your lines and ideas and record an audio take over the provided track until December 22nd so that I can be able to post the final mix on the Christmas Day!

This Thursday - December 13th, we shall build some lines and licks over the track in the video chat session so don't miss it smile.gif

Tech specs on short:

Scale:

Tempo: 80 BPM

Time signature: 4/4

Materials format:

- a .WAV track with your guitar only (no delays/ reverb added)
- an mp3 track including the backing also, so that i may have a guideline.

Deadline: December 22nd

Ready, set, roCA(n)ROOOOOOLLLL!

Cosmin

Hi Cosmin!

Here is my take! The lighting in the video is not as good as usual since I'm at my mom's place, but for the christmas feeling I lit a candle wink.gif
