> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Senor Coffee, good to see you again !

This is not bad but it needs attention in the palm muting area so you can make the riffs leap out with a more percussive sound. Also, you'll notice that Muris also has certain sections where he plays several down strokes in a row. This gives a more even and stronger tone so you may want to replicate that as it will add to your overall rhythm guitar skills.

One last thing to improve is timing..

Nice, clear tone as always ! smile.gif

Hi Coffeman! Cool to see another take from you!

It's a good one, just concentrate on those things that Ben said about palm muting, about making everything sound tighter and more accentuated. Compare your take with Muris take to note what we are talking about. Keep on rocking! smile.gif
