Been watching another couple of cool documentaries which I thought some guys here may be interested in, unless you've already seen them!

Such Hawks Such Hounds - American hard rock circa 1970 -2007. It picks up on the stoner rock genre that kinda morphed from Sabbath etc. Really worth watching if you are into that kinda thing. I really liked it.

Rush - Beyond The Lighted Stage. Im not really a big rush fan but I still found it really cool. They are all interesting dudes and its quite funny in places. Ive definitely got more of an appreciation for the band from this. Also, they do have a few killer tracks biggrin.gif

big fat riffs indeed! Some of that stuff sounded like it came straight out of the desert smile.gif some really cool imagery in the videos as well.
Im always trying to write those types of riffs but its not easy to get them sounding as authentic and professional sounding.

Sound City, One of the guys over at the Rig-Talk forum is involved in that one. He said Dave is a really nice person.

There is a Tom Petty documentary called Runn' down a dream which is 4 hours long, but fantastic if you like that sort of american rock

This is one of my favorite metal documentaries ever! It's so interesting to know bands from places where you think that there isn't metal band.... some of the most unique bands appear in this film... like for example Sepultura.

Metal A Headbanger's Journey

Probably my favorite metal documentary out there. I love how he breaks down sub-genres and the Norwegian black metal portion of the documentary.

You know, I never actually got to see the Metal Evolution series. It seems really interesting. I think they play it on VH1 classic every now and then.
