I was thinking that buying a Brazilian guitar could be a good deal for me because it's close form my city and that makes it cheaper.

You sound great on that Tele in your profile but I love green and that Dreamer axe looks really great. Congratulations!

This is a long shot but I have a friend in Sao Paolo, Marcelo Giangrande. He owns MG Music ... http://www.mgmusic.com.br/ Do you know of him or his business? I have one of his wah pedals. You can switch inductors on it as well as shift the frequency range - really great piece of gear.

I was curious about Dreamer guitars after I saw it featured in you lesson. They look and sound like high quality instruments. If they arrive around here I would like to try them out.

This one look real nice

Hi mate! These are custom guitars and unfortunately not available to German stores. Although you can order one and the guitar can be sent to you, I think it's gonna be very expensive…
If we make it to Musikmesse, you can try one, for sure!

Yeah, I know some of the guys involved in MG Music. They build great amps and pedals. Marcelo is not a close friend of mine, but I talked to him sometimes in the past and he seems a very nice guy. I've played the THAT'S ECHO FOLKS delay and it kicks ass!

Thanks Gabe. Well, Kiko Loureiro is with another company here - Tagima - and he's got good partnership going with them.
I don't think he will stop earning royalties to play with another company's guitar...

Those guitars look VERY interesting... the company reminds me a very tiny bit of Suhr. I'd be curious to try out one of these sometime!

Hmmm... cool.gif You cannot compare them to Suhr's as far as they produce around 300 guitars a month, as far as they got very popular. 300 guitars a month doesn't sound to me like a custom made guita anymore. So Dreamerguitar might be the better choice as far as you might have a single luthier working on your guitar. The only problem with unknown brands is, that you never reach the same price when you sell that guitar, as if you would sell a well known brand guitar, as for example Suhr or Anderson.

In never heard of that brand Dreamerguitar or that luthier before, but that doesn't mean a thing - south america is far away. If you're searching for a alternative handmade us guitar, you have to check out lipeguitars.com. The owner and masterluthier Mike Lipe might be one the most important luthiers nowadays. They are totally handmade. Very few people know his name, as far as he built his guitars many years under the brand Ibanez Customshop LA. So if you have a chance to be at Namm13 check out his guitars - promise they will blow off your mind!
