So I was checking out Osiris's website and he had posted this video of Sarah Longfield. I really was digging the song and then all of a sudden she tears into some crazy sweep picking at about the 2:30 mark. I really like her music apparently she plays guitar (8 string no less) cello, drums and piano. Anyway got me thinking who are your favorite female musicians.

Here is Sarah Longfield and that vid

And here is one of my favorites Gabriela from Rodrigo y Gabriela.

SMALLL WORLD!! I WORK ON THIS SHOW!!!! smile.gif My buddy Matt Rowles produces it and I've been his Social Media consultant and sometime Mix Assistant for 6 years. The show got picked up by Comcast/Xfinity for on demand distribution here in the states. He'd get a kick out of knowing folks were sharing it on GMC. smile.gif

Too many to name them all here biggrin.gif

I always enjoyed the covers of Juliette Valduriez, I think we talked about her already a while ago.

I really like Halestorm, Lzzys voice is great and she can scream. If you like straight rock you might wanna check them out (their first album is great, their second is a bit weaker). Sound quality is not so great in this video...

Elize Ryd is a good vocalist, I like her band Amaranthe. Alisha White-Gluz is awesome, her band is The Agonist (which might not be everyone's cup of tea). They both teamed up with Kamelot lately:
